About The Artist

Alexander Dufour is an artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. With a background in Film, Alexander conveys narrative in his pieces through his subjects, in an immersive world seen through the lens. Alexander learned photography in the darkroom of his High School, where he began working with innovative processes and refined his knowledge in the subject. Later in Alexander’s High School career, he received numerous awards and was featured in many galleries, including The Cumming Art Center, the Congressional Art Competition, and The Scholastic National Gallery. Alexander was hired as a Media Intern for the Georgia Congressional Campaign, Bob Christian for U.S. Congress, and accepted the National Gold Medal at Carnegie Hall from The Alliance of Young Artists & Writers. Alexander has a diverse portfolio capturing portraits, scenes, headshots, landscapes, and more- both with film and digital mediums.

Alexander is studying at the Savannah College of Art & Design in Atlanta, majoring in Film and TV and minoring in Photography
